Robert L. Wagmiller, Jr.

Research Associate of CSDA. He received the PhD in Sociology from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining CSDA, he was an Associate Professor of Sociology at Temple University and an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Sociology at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. His research has appeared in the American Sociological Review, Demography, Child Development, Social Problems, Pediatrics, Social Science and Medicine, and Urban Affairs. His research focuses on policy-relevant issues related to social stratification over the life course and among neighborhoods and communities. His current research focuses on developing a life course approach for understanding neighborhood attainment and historical change in these patterns.
